About Ryan....

Ryan is joining the Red Ravens in 2017 as the Director of Theatre at Coffeyville Community College. Ryan is a recent graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi where he received his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Theatre Performance. Before attending graduate school, Ryan worked professionally in South Florida, where he also attended Florida Atlantic University and received his BFA in Theatre Performance. The past two years Ryan has also been the Director of Theatre at Camp Echo Lake in Warrensburg, NY.

 

Ryan has both performed in and directed  plays and musicals around the country. Some favorite shows that he has directed include: How I Learned to Drive, DOG SEES GOD, This is Our Youth, The Jungle Book KIDS, Little Shop of Horrors, Seussical the Musical and PIPPIN. Some favorite roles include Young Peer Gynt in Peer Gynt, Jaques in As You Like It, Medvedenko in The Seagull, Eugene Jerome in Brighton Beach Memoirs, and Adam in The Shape of Things.

 

Currently, Ryan is a member of Actor’s Equity (EMC), Stage Directors and Choreographer’s Society (SDC), The Association of Theatre Movement Educators (ATME), and Association of Theatre in Higher Education (ATHE).
